The first episode of Doctor Who Series 10 has received overnight viewing figures of 4.64 million viewers. This is a 24.8% share of the last night's TV in total.

These figures include viewers who tuned in for the BBC One broadcast last night (15th April), and those who recorded the episode and watched at a later time. BBC iPlayer viewers aren't included as yet.

The most-watched programme on TV last night was Britain's Got Talent, with 8.65 million people tuning into ITV for the talent competition.

All Round to Mrs Brown's was the top-rated show on BBC One, pulling in 4.67 million viewers. This makes Doctor Who the second most-watched show on BBC One.

The final figures for the episode will be released next Monday.
