The ninth episode of Doctor Who Series 10 has received an overnight viewing figure of 3.58 million. This is a 20.6% share of TV in total for last night.
These figures include viewers who watched the first broadcast of the episode on BBC One last night (10th June), and those who recorded the episode to watch at a later time. BBC iPlayer viewers aren't yet included.
The World Cup Qualifier was the top rated programme for the day, with 4.73 million viewers on ITV, with The Voice Kids UK pulling in slightly less with 4.23 million.
Doctor Who was the sixth most popular show on BBC One, being topped by the 10pm BBC News bulletin with 4.32 million, Casualty with 3.9 million and a repeat of Mrs Brown's Boys receiving a total of 3.58 million. As the results of the UK General Election were announced just this week, we would assume this to be the reason for the popularity of BBC News this week.
