Amazon have announced a multi-year content licensing agreement with BBC Worldwide to make Prime Instant Video the exclusive US subscription streaming home for Doctor Who.
This is fantastic news for fans in the US, following the departure of the show from Netflix and Hulu in February.
Members of Amazon Prime will be able watch Series 1-8 online, including every Christmas Special episode, from Sunday, 27th March 2016 at no additional membership charges.
Series 9 and the latest Christmas Special episode, ‘The Husbands of River Song’ will be available to watch in the Autumn of 2016.
