As part of the Doctor Who Experience, fans are invited into BBC Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff Bay this Christmas, to visit the actual TARDIS set!
Cardiff has been the home of Doctor Who since its return to our TV screens in 2005 and has doubled for many places and locations in the Doctor Who universe, and the Doctor Who Experience's Filming Locations Tour programme brings this exclusive access to the most important filming location of all - the TARDIS itself!
Situated in the adjacent BBC Roath Lock Studios, where Doctor Who is made, a visit to this unique 360 degree set means stepping into the TARDIS just as it appears on our TV screens. And if you've ever dreamt of pushing open those Police Box doors and into the dimension beyond, this is your chance.
Now that Series 9 and this year's Christmas Special have been produced, this is the very first opportunity to see the set since it was updated for the start of the current series. For any Doctor Who fan, this is an incredibly special opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the Doctor and his most recent companion, Clara Oswald. And, of course, alongside those in the Experience itself, this is the set that Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor appeared on when filming the Doctor Who Experience's very own adventure in 2014.
